No Matter What

Small was feeling grim and dark.
小的感覺憂鬱和黑暗

Playing toss and fling and squash,
yell and scream and bang and crash.
Break, and snap and bash and batter...
玩拋擲並且甩，壓扁，
叫喊和尖叫，爆炸和崩潰。
打破，並捕捉和揍和連擊...

"Good grief," said Large. "What is the matter?"
“天哪，”大的說。 “什麼事？”

Small said, "I'm a grim and grumpy little Samll and nobody loves me at all."
小的說，“我是一個憂鬱而脾氣暴躁的小了點，沒人喜歡我。”

"Oh small," said Large. "Grumpy or not, I'll always loves you no matter what."

Small said, "If I was a grizzly bear, would you still love me, would you care?"
小的說，“如果我是灰熊，你還愛我，你會在乎嗎？”

"Of course," said Large, "Bear or not, I'll always love you no matter what."

Samll said. "But if I turned into a bug, would you still love me and give me a hug?"
小的說。 “但如果我變成了一隻臭蟲，你還會愛我，給我擁抱？”

"Of Course," said Large, "Bug or not, I'll always love you no matter what."
“當然，"大說，“臭蟲與否，我會永遠愛你。”

"No matter what?" said Small and smiled.

"What if I was a crocodile?"
“如果我是一條鱷魚？”

Large said, "I'd hug you close and tight, and tuck you up in bed each night."
大的說，“我會緊緊抱著你，每晚把你放到在床上。”

"Does love wear out," said Small, "Does it break or bend? Can you fix it, stick it, does it mend?"
“愛會變少嗎“，小的說, 它會否斷裂或彎曲？你能修理，貼合，修補嗎？”

"Oh Help," said Large, "I'm not that clever, I just know I'll love you for ever."
天呀, 大說，“我沒那麼聰明，我只知道我愛你，直到永遠。”

Small said, "But what about when we're dead and gone, would you love me then, does love go on?"
小的說，“如果我們死了，你會繼續愛我，一直愛下去？”

Large held Small snug as they looked out at the night, at the moon in the dark, and the stars shining bright.
"Small, look, at the star~ how they shing and glow, but some of those stars died a long time ago."
大的溫柔抱著小的，他們望著外面的晚上，在黑暗中的月亮，星星閃耀。
“小的，快看，星星〜他們閃閃發光，但其中的一些星星去世很久。”

"Still they shine in the evening skies love like starlingt, never dies."
“不過，他們在晚上天空閃耀的愛像星光，永遠不死。”
